How to live through (someone else's) aging!!!!

Mike & I have cared for the elderly for many years. We have owned a caregiving company, where we cared for people in their homes. We have been licensed by the state and cared for many, many dear ones in our home. I have been a guardian for the elderly and cared for them in facilities & their homes. We have had every conceivable happening, and some that you couldn't dream up with the imagination of Steven Spielberg!!

I (along w/ Mike's help) would like to share some of our experiences, our tears, but most of all, the laughter. We have been trained through thousands of hours of continuing education, private medical personnel, not to diminish our 'trials by fire' so to speak. All days were incredible and momentous, some overwhelming and most fun and funny.

I plan to put a comment section in so that you can ask questions with regard to your caregiving queries as well as the funny times that keep YOU going. Let's begin with....

Here I am...just found password to blog. My oldest set this up with me originally, now I have to learn how to edit it!!!??? It is raining like the dickens' here in Fl, but they will keep water restrictions & high prices on water! Oh well, no sense complaining about the unchangeable. Mike & I are fine and hoping the same for all of you. I will edit my blog and update as soon as I get a handle on how!

It's Sunday evening and we had a great visit with friends and are relaxing watching poker. Off to Tampa tomorrow to pick up grandson for the evening. I will be going to Border Books to look for some Dummie's books. Grands and I often make homemade pasta. They enjoy it as much as I do!!! Two of our grandsons wearing flour!!!
